Why Preseason Polls Don't Matter

The Associated Press released their preseason Top 25 Poll today, and it took approximately 4 seconds for the backlash to begin. The website preseason.stassen.com compiled a cumulative ranking for all FBS teams dating back to 1989 and ranked each team based on how under- or overrated they are historically (it's simple really--he just takes the difference from their preseason ranking and final ranking.
