Please Listen and Help
If we could request ten minutes of your time for any interview on our show, this would be the one. A fundraiser is taking place this weekend for Khiry Neal. A staph infection has left Khiry paralyzed and all money raised will go towards a van which will make transportation easier on him and his grandmother. Khiry's mother passed away from breast cancer last year which means Neal's grandmother is the sole provider. The community has been there for Khiry the entire time but now they need our help.

Can't Believe I Hurled in Gormans Car
Yep, one of my most embarrassing moments occured Monday,March 28th. Steve is a very funny and entertaining talk show host, nevermind the fact he is the drummer of one of the most influential rock bands of all time(um...Black Crowes). Needless to say I will not be able to listen to "Hotel Illness" the same way.
I wish I could tell you I handled it like a rock star but after listening to what Steve endured in Argentina with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page...well, I have a long way to go. Click to listen
Steve is one class act, and I would encourage you to check out http://www.stevegormansports.com/
Let us know if you have an embarrassing moment....

Words and Audio....Mike Anderson Press Conference
Goose bumps, yep, goose bumps! This was one hard press conference to cover. Why? Because 4,000 unofficial media members showed up and took the party to Phase Two. They were loud, they were emotional, they made the "press conference."
Was it awkward? You bet! And that is not a bad thing, it can be argued that fans should never attend press events, yet it can also be argued there was no other way to introduce Mike Anderson,Click to listen:Chuck bringing Mike to stage.
As Mike took his chair, it was obvious he was having a hard time fighting his emotions but he had a few moments to compose himself while Jeff Long echoed what fans wanted to hear.Click to Listen:Jeff Long
And then, some nine years later....all hell broke out and Mike got the party started.Mike Calling Hogs.
It didn't take long for the Mike Anderson to acknowledge what Bud Walton will look like next season,Click:"Where gonna fill this place up"
THIS IS AN OPEN NOTICE TO ALL OPPOSING TEAMS,MIKE ANDERSON WANTS YOU TO KNOW THIS,Click:"We are going to meet you at the d*mn bus"
Does this line ring a bell? .....feel sorry for the bear....Click:"Help the bear"
There was one bizarre moment, a Mizzou reporter asked Mike a tough question(s) and it didn't go over well with the above mentioned 4,000 "media" members,Click: Fair question but bad time...ouch
If the reporter would have waited ten minutes she would have had a chance to ask Mike the same question minus the crowd reaction. If she didn't know Mike was going to address the media privately then Hog fans should take it easy on her but if she did know and still asked.....well.....welcome to Bud Walton Arena!
Thanks for your time, enjoy your weekend!
