Why Preseason Polls Don't Matter

The Associated Press released their preseason Top 25 Poll today, and it took approximately 4 seconds for the backlash to begin. The website preseason.stassen.com compiled a cumulative ranking for all FBS teams dating back to 1989 and ranked each team based on how under- or overrated they are historically (it's simple really--he just takes the difference from their preseason ranking and final ranking. S K.J. Dillon, 6-1, 185, 4.5 of Apopka, Fla., has 14 scholarship offers but has Arkansas, Kentucky and West Virgina as his top three schools. Dillon said he plans to make official visits to the Hogs and Mountaineers. He has made an unofficial visit to the Wildcats and doesn’t plan to officially visit Lexington. Click to Listen
